The Ball is a key game objective found in the Unreal series.
The Ball is the key component of the Bombing Run and Overdose gametypes. In the former gametype, the holding team must carry it to the enemy team's goal. In the latter, the owning player must carry it to one of two goals, and the score given depends on the goal the ball was brought to.
- In the Unreal Championship betas, the ball was called Bomb, and the Bombing Run gametype's name originates from here.
