CTF-Nanoblack is a Capture the Flag map from Unreal Tournament 3. It's available for PC and PlayStation 3 as part of the Titan Pack DLC/Black Edition of the game.
Map description[]
The map is a complex set of stairs, rooms and walkways seldom seen in Unreal Tournament 3. As the zones aren't exactly marked, we're going to assign them names, for easiness of comprehension:
- First, of course, are the Red/Blue Flag Base. The oddity here is that the flags are located at a corner, near the statue of a Necris hero.
- The next room is the Blue/Red Anteroom. It is a multi-tiered set of floors with a flooded lower floor.
- From the Anteroom's upper floor, players can take a cave (we're naming it Sniper Corridor) to the Sniper Nest, reminiscent of those found in CTF-November and its derivate maps.
- From the Anteroom middle floor at the north (Blue side) or south (Red side) there's the Blue/Red Pillar Room.
- Two Underwater tunnels serve as additional connections of the Anteroom with the Central area.
- At the opposite side of the Pillars room players can exit to the Blue/Red Side Corridor.
- Finally, there's the Central area. It's a zone mostly covered by water, though there's a lot of room for walking/running. There's a central structure holding powerful items.

Tips and tricks[]
- The water holds the most powerful items. Due to being water, though, you're exposed to its risks (drowning, slowness of movement)...
- Make good use of the Translocator in order to alternate paths when attacking.
Trivia[]
- The map was going to be a Deathmatch map, judging by the content of the files that shipped with the game. Alternatively, it was going to be shipped with this support in the Titan Pack, but got cut.
