Map description[]

A small, ancient ruins-themed map in line with CTF-Beatitude, this map is composed by the following areas:

  • Red/Blue Inner Base: Each of these rooms are two-tiered. The lower level contains a weapon, a bunch of obstacles, and a pair of ramps going to the upper level. The upper level contains the flag in a balcony, two ledges with health on them, and a second balcony with some more weaponry.
  • Red/Blue Outer Base: The areas that connect the inner base with the Sundial. Also two-tiered, wlthough only the lower level contains items of interest, namely a weapon, while the upper level contains health packs. On foot, the only way to reach the upper level is by way of a set of ramps.
  • Sundial: The center of the map, holding the eponymous namesake, a big pillar over two platforms that resemble a, well, sundial. Not much can be said about this area.

Tips and tricks[]

  • The lack of powerful weaponry makes controlling the Rocket Launcher and its ammo the main point.
  • Use of Translocator in this level is essential. As an attacker/flag carrier, not only are new paths opened, but taking the long road becomes stressful, especially with both Outer Areas' ramps.
