Cedric 'Inoxx' Fiorentino (born December 15, 1975) is a former level designer for Epic Games. During a 10-year period, he made several well-known maps, including CTF-Face and the Inoxx Pack for Unreal Tournament. Inoxx and Epic Games have since parted ways, leaving the company in August 2005.
Bio[]
Cedric studied math in Montpellier, France before joining Epic Games (then Epic MegaGames) in 1995. He was hired after sending a floppy disk of Epic Pinball animations to Tim Sweeney.
Fiorentino got a reply from Sweeney a few weeks later, inviting him to the Epic's US studio. He first worked on Extreme Pinball 2 before being assigned to the Unreal development team. While being amazed at the amount of talent and the wildly different yet complementative points of view found at the company, working at a distance proved to be a challenge on its own, especially with the network connections at that time. So, after the development of Unreal, he moved to Waterloo, Canada, and later to Epic's headquarters on Raleigh, North Carolina, during the development of Unreal Tournament.[1]
Other titles Cedric has worked on during his time at Epic include Unreal Tournament 2003 & 2004, Unreal Championship 2, Unreal Tournament 3, and Gears of War. Cedric and Epic Games parted ways in August 2005. Cedric has since served as a consultant for Webzen (working on Huxley) and Arkane Studios, as well as working on companies such as Ubisoft and LucasArts. He currently works as creative director in Virtuos Games, a company from Singapore.[1]

Other[]
His map Facing Worlds was also remade for Unreal Tournament 3 and Unreal Tournament 4 as CTF-FacingWorlds and CTF-Face (previously CTF-FaceTest), while DM-Pyramid and DM-BlockParty were remade in Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict as DM-Legacy and DM-AcidRain. In all cases, while the designs were his own, all maps in UC2 and UT3 and the UT4 version of CTF-Face are all credited to the entirety of Epic Games. Also the UT3 map CTF-Searchlight from the Bonus Pack 1 was based on a cut map of his, CTF-Fortress.
