The Control Point is a key game objective found in the Unreal series.
There are two kinds of Control Points, belonging to the Domination and Double Domination gametypes. Both kinds of control points share the property that any team can touch them and it can change ownership many times across a match. They differ in the score: while DOM control points give points to the owning team continuously (though how fast depends on the amount of controlled points, usually the more control points held the better), DDOM control points must be held simultaneously and during a time in order to get a point for its owning team, and after getting the point, both points are reset for another round.
