DM-CanyonFear is a Deathmatch map for Unreal Tournament. It's one of the console exclusive maps, released for the Sony Playstation 2 and Sega Dreamcast versions of the game.

Map description[]

A plain land with a few weapons and a few mountains coming from it. It's divided in two halves by way of a big mountain, while at the south two big mountains act as pillar for coverage. For description reasons, we're calling these areas North (where the Rocket Launcher lies), Middle (the area with Shock and Link, plus some health) and South (the area of the Minigun).

Tips and tricks[]

  • A well-charged, well-timed impact jump at the North area side of the mountain will allow you to reach a higher place from where you can shoot your enemies.

Trivia[]

  • There's a discrepancy in the playercount between both versions. The Playstation 2 version supports 2-4 players, while the Dreamcast only 2. It isn't much of a problem, though.
  • There's a hidden Level Entry Text: "Control the armour!"
