DM-Crane (whose full name is The Cranes) is a map appearing in Unreal Tournament . It comes with the UT Inoxx Pack.



Map description Edit

Probably the biggest Deathmatch level of the entire game, the action in the map happens at an unfinished building. The outside features five floors: four in the lower levels, and the rooftop of the central building which, as expected, acts as a spot for snipers. There's also a pair of cranes, one at the west of the map and another behind the building at the north. And the building itself features passages between both halves, and a bunch of platforms from the lower levels to the upper levels, and another pair which goes from the upper level to the lower level.

In the outsides, not only falling out of the building ends up in death, but falling to the courtyard below the ledges at the southeast area also ends in death.

Tips and tricks Edit

  • This level has plenty of ammunition and health, and almost every starting point has a weapon close to it, so there's no reason to stay unarmed for long.
  • Use the Shock Rifle to push people going for the Shield Belt or the Redeemer.

"After finishing my work on UT I realized most of the maps would be good for 10 players max. It's still decent with more players but I wanted to make something big enough to allow a lot of players without feeling to crowded so I made Crane, Kosov and High Towers. I think these maps will be playable with up to 32 players."
