"They say keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. You won't find any friends here, so reach out and touch someone."
– Map description
DM-Leviathan is a Deathmatch map for Unreal Tournament 2003 and Unreal Tournament 2004. In both games, it's one of the stock maps.
Map description[]

Another simple map. The ground floor consists of 3 corridors which form an "H" shape. There's a slope at each of the 4 ends of this "H" which lead to either of the 2 ledges in the main hall (the middle part of the "H"). Most weapon pickups can be found on the ground floor, as well as the only 2 health/armor pickups. The more powerful weapons, however, are on the top floor.
Named areas in the map are as follows:
- Main Room (Light green): The central area of the map, comprised of two floors.
- Western Chamber (Dark blue): Connects the lower level of the Main Room with the North-West Hallway and the South-West Hallway.
- Eastern Chamber (Dark purple): Connects the lower level of the Main Room with the North-East Hallway and the South-East Hallway.
- North-East Hallway (Yellow): A slope which connects the Eastern Chamber with the North-East Upper Hallway.
- North-East Upper Hallway (Light purple): A small buffer area which connects the North-East Hallway with the upper level of the Main Room.
- North-West Hallway (Cyan): A slope which connects the Western Chamber with the North-West Upper Hallway.
- North-West Upper Hallway (Pink): A small buffer area which connects the North-West Hallway with the upper level of the Main Room.
- South-East Hallway (Marine Blue): A slope which connects the Eastern Chamber with the South-East Upper Hallway.
- South-East Upper Hallway (Green): A small buffer area which connects the South-East Hallway with the upper level of the Main Room.
- South-West Hallway (Purple): A slope which connects the Western Chamber with the South-West Upper Hallway.
- South-West Upper Hallway (Tan): A small buffer area which connects the South-West Hallway with the upper level of the Main Room.

Walkthrough[]
Unreal Tournament 2003[]
"They say keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. You won't find any friends here, so reach out and touch someone."
– Mission description
Tips and tricks[]
- Timing the Health and Shield is difficult, as the lower level holds most of the action and some of the best items. So your best bet to keep yourself alive is the Booster combo and shoot from the Eastern and Western chambers.
Prima Official Guide[]
"Despite its gargantuan name, Leviathan is another small, intense level like Insidious. Two main areas are on the map: a rectangular pathway that runs around the perimeter and a narrow open room in the center.
The pathway encircles the narrow open room. Along this pathway, pick up the Shock Rifle, the Bio-Rifle, the Rocket Launcher, the Flak Cannon, and the Lightning Gun.
In all four corners of the rectangular pathway, three Adrenaline capsules float above ramps that continue the pathway above the floor of the center room.
While running on the elevated pathway above the center room, you can jump down into the room, jump across to the pathway along the other side of the room, or circle the room on the pathway.
At each of the room's narrower ends, a door leads from the pathway into the center room. Inside, you'll find the Minigun, the Link Gun, a Health Pack +25, and a Shield Pack +50.
Like other small Deathmatch levels, Leviathan doesn't lend itself to fancy strategy. Your success depends mainly on skill. Hiding around blind corners (especially under the overhanging pathway in the center room) and collecting Adrenaline so that you can perform Adrenaline Combos are handy tricks. In the end, however, it all comes down to you."
