DmDaybreak (whose full name is Daybreak) is a map appearing in Unreal Mission Pack: Return to Na Pali .



Map description Edit

A map set in an ancient temple located at the top of a tower. It's a series of chambers interconnected with corridors and whose lower level is a water shallow. There are four areas in the map:

  • Western area: A three level room with a wooden ramp going from the water shallow to a mid-level ledge around the area. The upper level has two unconnected wooden ledges and a brick ledge.
  • North area: A small, two-level chamber with a hole to the sewers to Western Area.
  • Center area: A three-level room with levels connected via holes between them.
  • Southeast area: Also three-levelled, but the levels are connected via ramps, except for a separate ledge which isn't connected with the rest of the area. Contains a small chamber at the south.

Tips and tricks Edit

  • Jump Boots are very important in this map. Not only will they allow you to quickly reach items, but also are the only way to get to the Super Health without weaponjumping. Control of them is almost mandatory.

Trivia Edit

  • The map made it's way to the Unreal Tournament betas, seemingly before it was released as part of RTNP. It even featured a music track, Phantom. Needless to say, it didn't made the cut.
