The Energy Turret is a turret found in the Unreal series.
Overview[]
The turret appears in the Onslaught and Warfare maps. It has strong kickback (strong enough to send Scorpions flying), and interestingly, cannot harm powernodes. Primary fires team coloured hitscan beams, secondary zooms in. In Unreal Tournament 3, some Vehicle Capture the Flag maps such as VCTF-Rails also have them, and they also have rails, which allow them to be repositioned into new defense areas (as is the case of WAR-MarketDistrict, where they can be used to guard the own core or attack the enemy core).
