Forums: Index > Watercooler > Discussion: Game pages organization

Good night!

I was thinking about how we can organize the game pages so they can look (mostly) the same across all of them. My suggestion is to divide the game in these sections:

  • [Article intro]
  • Synopsis (with the selling text at the back of the game's boxart as the intro)
  • Development history (including release dates)
  • Content
    • Characters
    • Weapons
    • Vehicles
    • Gamemodes and gametypes
    • Maps
  • Reception (including a list of rankings from Gamerankings, Metacritic and such)
  • Essential files
  • Trivia

Here's an example of what I want to achieve. The Essential files section is commented because I (or, better, we) need to update the links before de-commenting.

This is looking like a good plan, some of the articles for the games in the series could sure use some organization - and this sure will be a beneficial change in order to make each of the pages neat and orderly. After all, that is what we're aiming for on this wiki, to be able to easily read and obtain information from it. The page for Unreal you provided as an example is brilliant.
