Health Packs are a basic health item in the Unreal series, appearing in every Unreal game to date.

Overview[]

The basic medium-sized unit of health in the Unreal games heals between 20 and 25 health points, less than the larger 100hp health units but more than the smaller 5hp units.

Unreal (video game) and Unreal Mission Pack: Return to Na Pali[]

The Health Pack heals 20 health points in Unreal, up to a maximum of 100 health points, and can be found in almost every map. They are less powerful than the Nali Healing Fruit, but a lot more useful than Bandages.

Normal health maximum is 100, super health maximum is 200. If the player chooses the Skaarj class, their normal health maximum is 130 and Super Health maximum is 260, and if the player chooses the Nali class (not shown by default), their normal health maximum is 80 and Super Health maximum is 160.

Unreal Tournament[]

"Replenishes 20 points of health, up to a maximum of 100."
UT manual

The Health Pack provides 20 health points, up to a maximum of 100 health points.

Unreal II: The Awakening[]

Unreal Championship, Unreal Tournament 2003 and Unreal Tournament 2004[]

The Unreal Engine 2 games use a set of health powerups that are very similar to that of UT. The Championship version is green-colored and looks like a hologram, while the 2003 and 2004 versions have a more "solid" look and are instead colored with a cyanish blue.

The map AS-BP2-Outback includes a type of health called "Vegemite", which is just a Health Pack with another model and name. It's a yellow pot with the inscription "Healthmite" on it.

Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict[]

"Nanosurgeon packs that work for biological, mechanical and nanoblack competitors. These appear in small and medium varieties."
UC2 manual

Unreal Tournament 3[]

UT3 uses a set of health powerups that are basically the same as in UT200x. Large, White Health Packs that somewhat resemble UT2004's Kegs, but a bit more rounded and without the blue. Heals 25 Health, up to a maximum of 100.

Unreal Tournament 4[]

"Replenishes 25 HP, but does not stack beyond the initial 100 HP."
Tutorial level

Provide 20 health points, up to a maximum of 100 health points.

Trivia[]

  • The Booster adrenaline combo slowly converts adrenaline to health or shield at a rate of about 5 points per 0.9 game seconds.
