Reaper is the protagonist of Unreal Tournament 3.
Bio[]
James "Reaper" Hawkins was born to a hard working mining family in the Twin Souls clan. He joined the Fist of the Twin Souls, the security forces, after his sister, Sarah "Jester" Hawkins, was injured in a skirmish. His able reflexes made him a capable marksmen.
He nearly died in the onslaught of Twin Souls, led by Akasha. He sacrificed himself so his sister and team could escape aboard a combat shuttle filled with civilians. When Terrence "Othello" Carson and Jester came back to the scene, they found him almost dead. He then was sent to a medical facility and reconstructed. Pissed off for the event, he joins the Izanagi Corporation as a Ronin mercenary alongside her sister and his companions Othello and Jeremiah "Bishop" O'Connor. During the UT3 campaign, they also have a mission commander in the form of Malcolm, also hired by Izanagi.
The team manages to repel the Axon-backed Iron Guard from their tarydium while also conquering the tarydium mines at the hands of the Liandri Mining Corporation. Just when the Liandri fight was over, the Necris invasion happened. With the help of the Guard and Liandri's team, the unified front managed to repel the invasion, but Reaper's bloodlust craved for more, so he sent a few of his men to Omicron 6, home of the Necris, in order to finish the high inquisitor Akasha once and for all. The mission was a success, but at a heavy cost: Jester, Othello and Bishop were killed in the process.
It is unknown if Reaper managed to survive being surrounded by the Phayder forces.
