Unreal

A few types of Robot enemies were intended to feature in Unreal, but were ultimately cut. No build of the game containing them has ever surfaced.

Description of robots in an Unreal design doc from December 1996:

"Name: Robot 1

Description: These old sentry/maintenance robots are sleek, if a good bit worn. Quick and highly maneuverable, they will attempt to perforate you from a distance with the laser, mounted on one of the articulated arms. If they fail that, they will surely cut you to pieces with the welding torch mounted on the other."

Description: This is a slightly newer model of the old sentry robot. It touts a large barrel pulse laser, as it slowly bobs down corridors in search of quarry."

Description of robots in another design doc:

"Droid/Cyborg - Laser - ~4 feet tall - cool, sleek, battered, organic looking robots. This robot floats and is quick. Two-four aticulated arms. One with Laser, one with welding torch for close attacks

Robot/Cyborg - Pulse Laser - ~6 feet tall - sleek, battered, organic walking robot. Drill arm?"
