- Severnaya is the name of a location in Siberia, Russia, mostly known from the 1990s film Goldeneye 007.
- Sounds can be heard in several locations while outside of the dam. These sounds were later incorporated into BioWare's Mass Effect, as songs that are associated with an alien race known as the Rachni.
