  • |main_article= is used only in the team pages. If absent, must be empty.
  • |game= is a key field, it's used for the selection of the appropriate meters for that game (only one game per card), the proper display of a preferred weapon and the display of the right icon at the bottom-right corner of the card. Cannot be absent.
  • |image= is the character's in-game portrait. In case of absence, it's replaced by UT2004's question symbol. If absent, must be empty.
  • |team= is the number of the character's team (0=red, 1=blue, 2=green, 3=yellow, 255=neutral -displays the relevant icon-). If absent, must be empty.
  • |name= is a key field with the character's in-game name (for example "Gorge"), while |real_name= is the canonical name of that character (either in their description or the manual's) (for example "Prometheus Pithras"). The former field also allows the card to link to the proper page. |name= Cannot be empty. (|real_name= is UC only)
  • |class= is the canonical classification of the character ("Warrior", "Prisoner"...). If absent, must be empty. (UT only)
  • |race= is that character's race ("Skaarj", "Necris", "Human"...), and it links to the race's page. If absent, must be empty.
  • |birth_date is the canonical birth date of that character as displayed in the game's information (manual, in-game). If absent, must be empty.
  • |age= is the canonical age of that character as of that game. (UC/UT200X/UC2 only)
  • |birth_place is the canonical birth place of that character as displayed in the game's information (manual, in-game). If absent, must be empty. (UC2 only)
  • |weight= is the weight class of that character (Light/Medium/Heavy). (UC2 only)
  • |skills=, |accuracy=, |combat_style=, |alertness=, |camping=, |strafing=, |isJumpy=, |agility=, |aggresiveness= and |team_tactics= are the canonical bot values of that character. If absent, the respective fields must be empty. Negative values must be enclosed in parenthesis! Otherwise the template may not work as expected.
  • |weapon_preference= marks the preferred weapon of that character as a bot ("Flak Cannon", "Shock Rifle"...) Combined with |game= it displays the proper icon, otherwise it just displays a link. If absent, must be empty. (U1/UT/UC/UT200X only)
  • |weapon_affinity= is the type of affinity the character has with the weapon (Damage, Ammo, Fire rate). (UC only)
  • |weapon_affinity_rate= is a numeric value defining the rate value of the affinity. (UC only)
  • |weapon_melee= and |weapon_ranged= are the starting weapons (i.e. "Skaarj Razik, Skaarj Blades") of that character. (UC2 only)
  • |combo1=, |combo2=, |combo3=, |combo4=, |combo5= and |combo6= are the six Adrenaline combos this character is able to execute and are displayed as icons. (UC2 only)
  • |ground_speed=, |health_pickup_factor=, |air_speed=, |maximum_walldodges=, |multijump_boost=, |jump_height=, |dodge_speed=, |min_dj_landing= and |stun_tolerance= are the canonical values of that character. (UC2 only)
  • Finally, |description= is the canonical description of that character, with a preference for in-game descriptions over other ones.

The fields |skills=, |accuracy=, |combat_style=, |alertness=, |camping=, |strafing=, |isJumpy=, |agility=, |aggresiveness= and |team_tactics= can take values inside of these limits, otherwise an error is outputted:
